The mini guide is finally here!

Hi there!

If you’ve been following along, you probably saw my reel about kids resisting their heritage language. It hit a nerve and hundreds of you commented, DM’d, or asked some version of the same question: “Okay, but what do I actually DO about this?”

So I put together a mini guide that answers that.

It walks through why this resistance shows up (hint: it’s not rejection, it’s a predictable developmental shift), and what actually helps versus what quietly makes it worse.

I wanted to make this free. I tried a few ways to do that and it didn’t work out logistically on my end, so it’s $1.

What’s inside the guide

∙ Why the language shift happens around this age (and why it’s not about you)

∙ What to do and what NOT to do

∙ A few fun, low stakes activities to promote language acquisition even in this hard time

I wrote this the way I wish someone had explained it to me, breaking down those research studies I spent years pouring over and making them practical tidbits I can implement as a tired parent raising 3 multilingual littles.

Thanks for being here as we embark,

Sofia
